Starting your Job Coach Certification

Everything you need to know to start your Job Coach Certification.

Job Coach FAQ's

  • Click this link:
  • Enter your details to create a Way Finder Academy account
  • You will receive an email asking you to confirm your email address, follow the prompts
  • Wait for your account approval email (this should only take an hour or so, if not less)
  • Log into your new account!

Please be patient. Once you create your account, we like to manually approve it to make sure it’s not spam. This helps keep everyone’s information safe.

If you haven’t received an email from us within an hour or two of creating your account (Mon-Fri/9am-5pm), please reach out via

NOTE: If you create your account on the weekend or outside business hours, your account will not be approved until the next working day.

Don’t worry, lock outs are not permanent. If you’re receiving a message that you’ve been locked out, just wait 15 minutes, then try again.

  2. Click “Sign In” in the top right-hand side of the screen and enter your login information
  3. Once you’re logged in, click on the menu item called “Courses”
  4. Scroll down to find the course called “Job Coach Certification” and click it
  5. Click the start/Continue button to access the course

Make sure you’re logged in

Make sure you are logged into the website. You can do this by looking at the top righthand side of the screen. If you see the words “sign in”, click the button and complete the sign in process. Now check the courses page to see if you are enrolled.

Double check your course start date

If you’re still appearing as “Not enrolled” and you’ve never accessed the course before, double check your course start date – this will be in the very first email you received about the Job Coach Certification. It may be that your course hasn’t started yet, and you need to wait a week or two. You’ll receive an email on the course start date, letting you know that you can access the course.

Your Zoom session may not have happened yet

You will only be able to move onto the next lesson after your Zoom session. For example, if you’ve completed your Module 1 Key Learnings, you need to wait until your Module 1 Zoom session is over, so you can move forward. Double check in your calendar when your zoom sessions are happening to confirm.

Select “Click to Complete Lesson”

If you’ve already completed your key learnings, your zoom session is over, but are having trouble moving forward, go to the page called “Module X Key Learnings”, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click the blue “Click to Complete Lesson” button. This will move you onto the next module.

  3. Once you’re logged in, in the top right, click your name to view the drop-down menu,
  4. Then click “Groups” – this will take you to your group where you can view other members, ask questions, view zoom session information and access the course.

If you don’t like looking back at your own face during Zoom sessions, but your camera needs to be on for your trainer, there is a very simple solution! Just hover the mouse over your face, select the 3 dots, and from the drop down list, click “Hide Self View”. This will hide you from yourself and still let your trainer see you.

Please note that zoom recordings are only available for 2 weeks after the zoom session.

  2. Click “Sign In” in the top right-hand side of the screen and enter your login information
  3. Once you’re logged in, in the top right, click your name to view the drop down menu, then click “Groups”
  4. When the page loads, look for and click your Job Coach group
  5. Underneath the basic group information and pictures, click the menu item called “Zoom”
  6. Select “Past Meetings”, then the Module session from the list
  7. Scroll to the bottom and select “Show recordings”, then select the recording to watch it

After you have completed your module 4 Key Learnings and attended your Module 4 zoom session, you will be able to move into the programs conclusion. You will then complete your feedback, your self-assessment (like the one you did at the start of the program), and your final assessment, which is a 6 question case study. Once these steps are done, you can move through and complete the program to get your certificate and digital badge. 

Unfortunately, because your previous employer purchased the course for you, we cannot give you access to the Job Coach Certification once you’ve left the business.

But you can always create a new (free) account on and access all the free material available to every member!

Job Coach One-on-One FAQ’s

If you wish to, at the end of the program, you may complete a one-on-one mock coaching session with a Bounce Coach.  This 15 to 30-minute session is an opportunity for your Bounce Coach to assess your level of understanding and integration of the tools, concepts and strategies that have been introduced during your training.

You will choose from one of four case studies, and a Bounce Coach will play that character while you coach them.

Assessments can take anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes depending on how much fun you’re having.

Of course! The one-on-one roleplays aren’t for everyone, and they are also not mandatory. We offer them as an added bonus if it is something that you are interested in. 

You are also welcome to book a one-on-one with a Bounce Coach if you’d like to have a chat, get answers to some burning questions, or run through scenarios. Just let your coach know at the start of the session.
